だらけ attaches to a noun to mean covered with or full of something, almost always unpleasant (mud, mistakes, blood). It carries a negative, exaggerated nuance of excess. It describes a surface or situation overrun by that thing.
Examples
はだらけにてで。 Kodomo wa doro darake ni natte asonde iru.
The kids are playing, covered in mud.
はだらけだ。 Kono sakubun wa machigai darake da.
This essay is full of mistakes.
