にしろ〜にしろ lists alternatives to say the same conclusion holds in either case. Attach it to nouns or plain-form verbs. にせよ〜にせよ is a more formal variant. It means no matter which option, the result is unchanged.

Examples

  • にないに、て。

    Iku ni shiro ikanai ni shiro, renraku shite kudasai.

    Whether you go or not, please let me know.

  • にに、なを。

    Niku ni shiro sakana ni shiro, shinsen na mono o erabu.

    Whether meat or fish, I choose fresh ones.
