Drop the final i of the nai form and add kereba narimasen to express obligation: ikanakereba narimasen means I must go. Casual speech shortens it to nakya or nakucha. It states duties and necessities.

  I have to get up early tomorrow.

• 毎日まいにち薬くすりを飲のまなければなりません。

  Mainichi kusuri o nomanakereba narimasen.
