日本の夏祭り

When summer comes, festivals are held all over Japan. Last week, I went to the festival at a nearby shrine.

Many food stalls were lined up along the street, and there was a good smell of yakisoba and shaved ice. People wearing yukata were walking around happily.

When night fell, fireworks went up. Each time a great flower of light bloomed in the sky, everyone cried out with joy. Summer in Japan arrives together with festivals like these.
