からといって rejects a conclusion that seems to follow from a reason. Attach it to a plain-form clause. It usually pairs with a negative ending (わけではない, とは限らない), warning against a hasty assumption.
Examples
からとて、とはない。 Takai kara to itte, ii to wa kagiranai.
Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's good.
にでからとて、がなでは。 Nihon ni sunde iru kara to itte, keigo ga kanpeki na wake de wa nai.
Just because you live in Japan doesn't mean your keigo is perfect.
