polite negative (do not / will not)

Replace masu with masen to make the polite negative. It covers both present and future, so tabemasen means do not eat or will not eat. The rest of the sentence stays the same.

• 肉にくを食たべません。

  Niku o tabemasen.

  I do not eat meat.

• 今日きょうは働はたらきません。

  Kyou wa hatarakimasen.

  I am not working today.
