also, too

Mo means also and replaces wa, ga, or wo when the same thing applies to another item. It comes directly after the noun it refers to. With other particles like ni, it follows them: ni mo.

Examples

• 私わたしも学生がくせいです。

  Watashi mo gakusei desu.

  I am a student too.

• 水みずもください。

  Mizu mo kudasai.

  Please give me water as well.
