Sorekara starts a sentence meaning after that, stressing the order of events. It can also add one more item to a request or list, like and also. It is slightly more sequential than soshite.

Examples

• 宿題しゅくだいをしました。それから、テレビを見みました。

  Shukudai o shimashita. Sorekara, terebi o mimashita.

  I did my homework. After that, I watched TV.

• 牛乳ぎゅうにゅうを買かってください。それから、卵たまごもお願ねがいします。

  Gyuunyuu o katte kudasai. Sorekara, tamago mo onegai shimasu.

  Please buy milk. And also eggs, please.
