from ... until / to ...

Kara marks the starting point and made the ending point, in either time or space. They can be used together or separately. Both attach directly to nouns.

Examples

• 九く時じから五ご時じまで働はたらきます。

  Kuji kara goji made hatarakimasu.

  I work from nine to five.

• 家いえから駅えきまで歩あるきます。

  Ie kara eki made arukimasu.

  I walk from my house to the station.
